Professional Hope and Goal
The one hope that I have when I think about working with children
and families from diverse background is to be competent in my understanding of
what their culture background consist of.
The goal that I have for the children and families is that they
feel safe and comfortable within their surrounding and classroom environment.
I will like to thank my colleagues for all their views and
opinion throughout this course. I really enjoyed reading and learned a lot from
what they had to say regarding diversity, equity, and social justice.
I like the way you said that we need to get to know the families culture background because that is very important for us to understand their culture background. I would also have all kinds of culture items in my classroom for the children can feel ok in the room.
